Photographer Tony Ray-Jones created most of his images of the British at work and leisure between 1966 and 1969. Travelling around Britain, he recorded the unguarded moments of people from all sections of British society with a distinctive and highly individual style.ÃÂ In 1961, Tony Ray-Jones travelled to the United States on a scholarship to Yale in order to study graphic art. Based in New York, Ray-Jones captured street parades and individual moments over four years, returnign to England a fully-fledged photograper.
