Description

These Jupiter images were taken using a 10 inch Newtonian and a 14 inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. A special filter was used which only allows light from the near infra red part of the spectrum to pass through. This helps to bring out the cloud detail in the Jovian atmosphere.
