Description

'Flying Scotsman' steam locomotive pulling out of Kings Cros station. The photographer Eric Treacy (1907-1978) was often allowed special acces to many areas denied to other railway photographers. He also befriended many of the footplate crews, occasionally persuading them to create special smoke effects for the camera. Photograph by Eric Treacy.
