Description
This glove was worn by Yuri Viktorovitch Romanenko during his then record-breaking 326 day stay on board the Soviet Mir space station in 1987. This type of glove forms part of a cosmonaut's presure garment which is worn inside a spacecraft during launch and re-entry. The glove is attached to the rest of the garment at the wrist by a ring, within which there is a rubber seal.
