Poster produced for the Orient Line to promote its cruise to the West Indies, which lasted for 42 days. The poster shows an illustration of a woman in the West Indies carrying a basket of fruit which is balanced on her head, with a small child behind her. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He designed posters for the LNER (London & North Eastern Railway), GWR (Great Western Railway), Orient Line and Belgian Railways.
