Poster produced for the Southern Railway (SR) to promote cheap 'Go as You Please' tickets to Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. The poster shows a cloudscape with a farmer and two horses ploughing the field below. Artwork by Herbert Alker Tripp (1883-1954), who had a long and successful career with New Scotland Yard. He painted in his spare time and after his retirement. He designed posters for SR and Great Western Railway (GWR) and was knighted in 1945.
