Description

Cyanotypes are more usually asociated with fine art photography, but this 1912 image was produced as a record of the construction of locomotive boilers at the Great Eastern Railway's Stratford Works. It shows the boilermakers shaping flanges on a locomotive's firebox saddle plate.
