Description
Invented by Alex Zivanovic and Brian Davies at Imperial College, London, Bloodbot is a robot blood taker. It locates a vein by running a blunt probe acros the inside of the elbow; the stiffnes of the flesh indicating where there is a vein near the surface. The robot than inserts the needle, stopping the moment it enters the vein.
