Description
Photograph of a seventeen-strong party of tourists, accompanied by two maidservants, a cook and a steward, setting out on a 26 day mystery tour of the British Isles. Starting from London St Pancras they travelled to the West Country, Derbyshire, and Scotland before returning to London. Travelling in the luxury of the newly-introduced Pullman cars, they journeyed along some of the most scenic railway routes in Britain, including the newly-built Settle to Carlisle line.
