Description
Night Freight', artwork for BR (LMR) poster, c 1960s. Artwork produced for British Railways (London Midland Region) by Terence Cuneo (1907- 1996). From the 1940s onwards Cuneo was commisioned to paint many railway scenes for posters. He studied at the Slade and Chelsea Art Schools, London. before becoming a prolific painter of railways, portraits and ceremonial and military subjects.
