Description
Powder-coating involves the spraying of electrostatically charged paint particles onto a surface. The paint particles try to find the nearest negatively charged object, which is the surface being coated. Upon placing in an oven, the particles melt and chemically bond to the surface creating a tough, durable coating. Powder-coating is environmentally friendly, durable, and easily automated, resulting in significant cost savings when compared to traditional painting methods.
