Locomotive no 3058 built by W G Bagnall of Stafford for working at Par Harbour, Cornwall. The engine has since been preserved by the Cornish Steam Locomotive Society. This engine was used as a model for the 'Bill/Ben' character in the 'Thomas the Tank Engine' series of children's books written by Reverend W Awdry. The books were later adapted into a succesful television series narrated by former Beatles' drummer Ringo Starr.
