Description
The illustration on this clockmaker's trade card shows the names of famous clockmakers radiating out from the centre in the rays of the Sun. They include John Arnold (1736-1799); Thomas Mudge (1717-1794); John Harrison (1693-1776); George Graham (1673-1751); Christiaan Huygens (1629-1693); Robert Hooke (1635-1703); Abraham Louis Breguet (1747-1823); and Thomas Earnshaw (1749-1829).
