Description

Coloured etching by and after Henry Alken. Published by Thomas Mclean of Haymarket, London. A family group is shown making bricks, which are shaped by putting clay in moulds. The bricks are then baked in a kiln. A horse is seen in the background, powering a stirring mechanism, which mixes the clay.
