Description
Model. Dhows are Arab trading vesels traditionally used in the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. Many different types exist, with up to three masts, generally with lateen sails as in this example. Dhows are still used today, although they are now generally powered by diesel engines as well as the traditional sails.
