Diana Dors behind bars in 'Yield to the Night', her first serious role, 1956.
'Ever since she became an established star, Diana Dors has always been asociated with glamour. Now in her lastest film 'Yield to the Night', Diana sheds all her glamour to play the coveted role of a woman who kills for love and revenge.' Diana Dors (born Diana Fluck, 1931-1984) was promoted as a sex symbol and starred in various low-budget comedies. She gave a powerful performance in 'Yield to the Night', playing a wronged woman waiting to hang for the murder of her lover, but never became a high-earning film star despite several visits to Hollywood.
