Illustrated plate of a human skull by the French surgeon and anatomist, Jules Cloquet. The illustration is from a collection of bookplates and accompanying key texts, mostly chromolithographs, from anatomical treatises which were asembled before 1859, and are now held at the Science Museum, London.
