Description
Doctors peering through portholes into a high altitude chamber, 10 October 1942. Inside the chamber, Royal Air Force pilots are undergoing reaction tests. Conditions inside the chamber mimic those at high altitude. After the heavy steel doors are closed, a machine begins to reduce air presure at a steady state.
