Description
Royal Air Force pilot in a high altitude chamber, 10 October 1942. Conditions inside the chamber mimic those at high altitude. After the heavy steel doors are closed, a machine begins to reduce air presure at a steady state. The pilot is wearing an oxygen mask and earphones and pedalling an excercise bike, to test his physical reactions to high altitude conditions.
