Description
2-10-2 steam locomotive No 116 of the RFIRT heads a coal train in Patagonia, Argentina, 1977. The locomotive was built by the Japanese firm Mitsubishi in 1963. RFIRT (Ramal Ferroviario Industrial Rio Turbio) was constructed in 1951 to transport coal from the mine at Rio Turbio to Rio Gallegos on the Atlantic coast, and is the southernmost railway in the world.
