Description
Two 2-10-2 steam locomotives of the RFIRT doublehead a coal train in Patagonia, Argentina, 1977. The locomotives, headed by No 116, were built by the Japanese firm Mitsubishi in 1963. The RFIRT (Ramal Ferroviario Industrial Rio Turbio) was constructed in 1951 to transport coal from the mine at Rio Turbio to Rio Gallegos on the Atlantic coast, and is the southernmost railway in the world.
