Description
Rescue of a puppy during the Blitz, South London, c 1940. 'The barks of this little dog trapped with his master under a bombed house was instrumental in saving him and his master. The Air Raid Patrol (ARP) rescue squad had a guide to their position under the debris. Since 10 pm last night they have been clearing wreckage, and after 18 hours both dog and master were rescued'.
