Description
Model A phonograph, contained in an upright floor-standing cabinet. It has four drawers which each hold twenty-five cylinder boxes in clips. The horn is made of papier mache or fibre up to the neck and was grained to the finish of the cabinet. The Edison Company were the only manufacturer which offered a range of enclosed horn models. Previously horns had been exposed, and the very large horns required a floor support which was often knocked over. Closed.
