Description
'Mr Winston Churchill (1874-1965), the First Lord of the Admiralty, arriving at Downing Street, where the War Cabinet met to discus Rusia's intervention in Poland.' Churchill became Prime Minister in 1940, and led Britain during World War II. He worked constantly, and was famous for his determination and inspiring speeches. He was defeated in the 1945 elections, however, but was re-elected in 1951 at the age of 77.
