Description
Food can float around in 'blobs' in the weightles conditions of space, so astronauts have to eat with care. Food is specially prepared in tins or flexible packs and is often dried to save space. On the Space Shuttle there is a galley in which the crew can prepare meals. The menu consists of three meals a day and is repeated every six days.
