Description

The Sony Handycam Video 8 was a video camera recorder with a charge coupled device (a light-sensitive integrated circuit used in a variety of applications, primarily in imaging) and sonoptor f/15mm 1:16 lens. Battery operated TV Camcorders were first introduced in the mid 1980s, and offered the amateur film-maker a lightweight, compact, handheld camera, which contained an inbuilt video casette recorder and microphone.
