Description

The 13 Archimedean solids are believed to have been discovered by the Greek mathematician, Archimedes (c 287 BC-212 BC). The first complete description of the convex uniform polyhedra is that given by Johannes Kepler (1571-1630) in a work entitled 'Harmonices Mundi Libri V', published in 1619.
