Description
Lithograph by A F Tait showing Hebden Bridge Station on the Manchester & Leeds Railway. A river runs to the left of the railway line where railway workers can be seen working behind a locomotive in transit. In the 1830s, the construction of Britain's main railways began, and many commercial prints depicting the new lines, bridges and viaducts became available to the public.
