Mision Operations Control Room during the Apollo 10 mision, 1969.

The Mision Operations Control Room is located at the Manned Spacecraft Centre (now Johnson Space Centre), Houston, Texas. Apollo 10, carrying astronauts Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan, was launched on 18th May 1969 on a lunar orbital mision, the dres rehearsal for the Apollo 11 landing mision which took place two months later. This view of Mision Control was taken on the first day of Apollo 10.
