The Saturn V rocket, carrying Apollo 10 astronauts, Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan on their lunar orbital mision, lifts off from the Kennedy Space Centre's Launch Complex 39B at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The masive Saturn V rocket, over 100 metres tall, was the largest rocket ever built and was used on all the Apollo misions to the moon.
