Description
Marie Curie (1867-1934) was a Polish-French physicist, the first woman scientist of international distinction. She won two Nobel Prizes, the first for physics in 1903 for her work, with others, on radioactivity, and the second one for chemistry in 1911 for her discovery of polonium and radium.
