Description
The pharmacy jars: English, tin glazed, 1720-1740; large Dutch tin glazed earthenware jar, peacock motif, used for Theriaca Andromachi (Venetian treacle), 1730-1780; French pottery vase, T M Andro painted on a label on the side, 1750-1850; English tin glazed earthenware, c 1750. The syrup jars: two English tin glazed earthenware, 1730-1760; one Dutch tin glazed, posibly by 'De Metalen Pot', 18th century, inscribed 'S Iulap: Rosar'.
