Description
Mitchells were the standard feature film industry camera. In 1966, the manufacturers claimed that '85 per cent of all films shown in theatres throughout the world are filmed with Mitchell cameras'. They are noted for their precision construction and of the 744 NC cameras made, only nine of this model were manufactured. This particular camera was used at Ealing Studios in the era of its famous comedies, and later by the BBC.
