Description
This nine inch table model receiver was the first television to use the AC/DC type of power supply. It had no mains transformer which helped to make the set lighter and more compact. It measures 17.25 inches wide x 12.25 inches high x 12.75 inches deep (438mm x 311mm x 324mm) and weights only 30lb (13.6kg). W G Pye & Co, established in the early 1900s, was a large radio and television manufacturers based in Cambridge, England.
