E' type Jaguar motor cars being delivered to USA, 1962. 'The departure of 28 E type Jaguars - being carried on seven transporters - from the factory en route to the docks this week. The USA placed an order for 10,500 E types during the Earls Court Motor Show in London, an order worth 22 million pounds. This is the largest single order ever placed with the company, and in effect represents an increase of 100 percent in their busines in the sports car market for 1962 compared with 1961'.
