Photograph take at a domestic products trade show by Daily Herald staff photographer, Reuben Saidman. The photograph's contemporary caption reads: 'The asbestos draining board is the most interesting feature in this washing-up scene. The geyser is of standard form and is specially designed for small homes'. the geyser, or boiler, was the commonly-used 'Ascot'.
