This 557cc Triumph model H motor bicycle illustrates an interesting and succesful design of its time, which was adopted as the standard Army despatch rider's machine of the 1914-1918 war. It has a single-cylinder, air-cooled, vertical engine, a semi-automatic carburettor, high-tension magneto ignition, a 3- speed countershaft gear, and belt drive from the gearbox to the rear wheel.
