Strowger electromechanical selector and director equipment, 1960-1975.

This is a typical example of the type of Strowger mechanical exchange equipment which was used before the growth of digital exchanges in the 1980s and 1990s. It was removed from the British Telecom Deptford telephone exchange in Greater London in December 1990.
