Description
Interior view of the workings of the Bundy clock. In 1889, Harlow E Bundy set up the Bundy Manufacturing Company in New York State, USA. It was the first time recording company in the world. Bundy designed and manufactured a time clock which recorded on paper tape the arrival and departure times of workers. In 1902, Bundy's company was one of several others which were consolidated and later became IBM.
