Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), promoting rail travel to the university city of Cambridge, subtitled 'Peterhouse - The Earliest College Foundation'. Peterhouse College was founded in 1284 by Hugo de Balsham, Bishop of Ely. Artwork by Fred Taylor (1875-1963). Printed by Vincent Brooks, Day & Son Ltd, London WC2.
