Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), showing two men in 17th century costume, pointing to a pullman carriage bearing the name 'The Hook of Holland', to the suprise and amusement of modern-day pasengers inside. Beneath the image, a rhyme describes how the pilgrim fathers are deciding to take the Harwich boat-train to Holland, before proceeding to America. Artwork by Austin Cooper (1890-1964).
