Description
Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote the popular coastal resort of Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear. The poster shows bathing belles in swimming costumes in the sea and lounging on the rocks. Artwork by John Littlejohns, who wrote books on art and illustrated books for children as well as designing posters for LNER. Dimensions; 1016 mm x 1270 mm.
