Description
Poster produced for British Railways (BR) Southern Region to promote rail travel to the towns and North Downs of Surrey. The poster shows an illustration of Farnham Castle, which was built in 1138 by Henri de Blois, grandson of William the Conqueror, and Box Hill, an outstanding area of woodland and chalk downland which has long been popular as a destination for day-excursions from London.
