Description
Poster produced for British Railways (BR) to promote train services to the East Coast for holidays. Artwork by Charles 'Shep' Shepherd, who studied art under Paul Woodroffe and was head of the studio at the Baynard Pres. He designed posters for the Royal Mail Packet Steam Company and London Transport as well as SR.
