Champion chihuahua Seggieden Jupiter, (left), with his 12-month-old pups Vulcanite (the only male, Honeybelle, Cleopatra and Pixie (lying down). The pups, valued at £500, were making a 6-week journey on the steamer Helenus to Australia. They had been bought for breeding by Mrs E Gerardy of New South Wales, from owner Lady Margaret Drummond-Hay of Glencourse, Seggieden, Perth.
