"Red Army chiefs watch monster demonstration of Russia's military and industrial might paraded on 18th anniversary of revolution. Watched by Stalin, the Soviet dictator, and members of the all-powerful Political Bureau as well as high commanders of the Red Army, a military parade lasting two hours took place in Red Square, Moscow, in celebration of the 18th anniversary of the Bolshevik revolution. After the march-past of army, navy and air force men with heavy artillery, anti-aircraft guns and new 'fortress' tanks which raced across the square at 40 miles an hour, came a million and a half peasants and factory workers in columns 80 abreast." Seen here are Gamarnik, Kliment Yefremovich Voroshilov (War Commissar), Budyonny, Gorbachov, Aleksandr Yegorov, and Tukhachevski.
