Liverpool and England striker Keegan (born 1951) poses for a publicity shot to promote his record 'Head Over Heels In Love', released on EMI. Keegan began his playing career at Scunthorpe United and later moved to Liverpool in 1971. He made his England debut the following year. in 1973 he won the League Championship and the UEFA Cup with Liverpool as well as the FA Cup in 1974. Keegan left Liverpool to join Hamburg SV and was twice named European Footballer of the Year while playing for them. Keegan ended his playing career at Newcastle United but returned as a manager in 1992 leading them to promotion but resigned in 1997. He briefly managed Fulham before becoming England manager in 1999. Keegan resigned after England were eliminated from Euro 2000. His last managerial post was at Manchester City.
