Description
Platform at Malton Station, by Chris Hogg, 1981. A train to York waits at the platform. This line opened in 1845. It is widely used by day trippers visiting Scarborough, and by people commuting into York. Malton is on low lying ground and sometimes floods after heavy rain, meaning that the station has to shut.
