A photograph of sea cadets parading at Wellington Barracks in Chelsea, London, taken by Calcraft for the Daily Herald newspaper in 25 January, 1942. The cadets are giving three cheers and enthusiastically waving their caps in the air after a speech by Earl Albert Victor Alexander (1885-1965), First Lord of the Admiralty. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
