A photograph of Don Bradman (1908-2001), taken by Edward Malindine for the Daily Herald newspaper on 20 April, 1938. Bradman was the captain of the Australian cricket team who had just arrived in Britain on tour. A sporting legend, Bradman is widely regarded as the greatest cricketer of modern times. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs.
